As we wrap up the second quarter of 2024, the geolocation gaming niche in the United Kingdom has seen varied user engagement and revenue streams. Sensor Tower's data offers us an insight into how these games have fared over the past three months.

Pokémon GO continues to be a leader in the genre, with revenues peaking at nearly $343K in late June and downloads reaching over 18K in the same week. Weekly active users showed a slight dip in early May but picked up towards the end of June, with over 1.5M active users.

Another prominent title, Jurassic World Alive, showed a more modest performance, with revenues fluctuating around the $20K mark, except for an uptick to over $28K in early June. Downloads remained below 3K most weeks, and weekly active users saw a decline from 19K to around 18K by the quarter's end.

Niantic's Monster Hunter Now, although newer to the scene, had a notable spike in downloads in late June, jumping to over 4K. The game's revenue also saw an increase in early June, reaching nearly $15K, while weekly active users climbed steadily, ending the quarter at over 94K.

Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games brought in a consistent revenue stream, albeit on the lower end, with figures around $3K to $7K. Downloads saw a significant drop from 7K to around 1.5K, and weekly active users decreased from just under 10K to approximately 3.9K by late June.

Lastly, Pikmin Bloom maintained a steady base of weekly active users, ending the quarter with over 23K, despite a revenue dip to $3K. Downloads, however, saw a dramatic increase in late June, soaring to over 3.7K.
